Just like their Union counterparts, the Confederate Army had
troops, a navy fleet and cavalry. Their
strength lies in the fact that they had skilled and brave commanders leading
their troops. Generals like Robert E.
Lee, JEB Stuart, Stonewall Jackson and AP Hill among others were skillful
commanders and tacticians who won many victories in the early part of the war.
