Behaviors that an animal conducts from birth are fixed an unchangeable. This statement would most likely be made by an ethologist. The reason for this is that comparative behaviorist would by the very definition of their work be more attentive to the differences which are exhibited between the different species and the differences which can be observed in behavior from one to another species, as well as within one species from a young age up to an old age.
