1) Find sum of (12x+9y) and (-2y)
12x+9y+(-2y)=12x+7y

2) Subtract (4x-3y) from the sum
(12x+7y)-(4x-3y)=12x+7y-4x+3y=8x+10y

3) The answer is 8x+10y
