Number of customers = 300
Number of customers that are male and has an open-toe shoes = 11
P(male and open-toe) = 11/300

Number of customers that are male = 139 + 11 = 150
Number of customers that are male and has an open-toe shoes = 11
Given that the customer is male,
P(open-toe) = 11/150

No, the two probabilities are not the same. The first probability has 2 variables - the gender and the shoe-type. The second probability has only 1 variable - the shoe-type
