Why don’t we know what happened to Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa?

We do not know what happened to Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa because there was no evidence left to support any theories about their disappearance. However, historians have theorized that the Aryans may have invaded, they could have faced mass disease or famine, or they simply left for other reasons.
