The answer is average
Norms are certain set of behavior that conducted by the majority of people within a certain society, which make those behavior considered as 'normal'.
For example, it is a norm in East Asian countries to let the parents stay with you even after you're married.
This type behavior is seen normal in those countries but would be judged as extremely weird if conducted in United States.
