What impact did the extermination of the buffalo have on Native Americans?

Since the buffalos were very important in their society it impacted them greatly. The buffalos were used as the main source of food, clothes, tools, and shelter. When they were exterminated, the Native Americans struggled to find food, which made many of they starve to death. It also took many of their resources sending them helpless. ( sorry I know that was long lol)
