Hello there!

A hurricane is a massive, swirling storm. It has many spiral rain bands, a circular eye wall in the center, and lastly an eye. The eye is usually the calmest part of the entire storm. This storm is caused by a warm stretch of ocean and a mixture of differing winds all performing certain patterns.

Some other names for a hurricane are a tropical cyclone or a typhoon.

Hope this helps!
Brady
