Mrs, Hughes' class has 22 students.Her principal tells her that her class will increase to 30 students. Which equation can be used to find the percent increase?

First: work out the difference (increase) between the two numbers you are comparing. Increase = New number - Original Number

Then: divide the increase by the original number and multiply the answer by 100. % Increase = Increase ÷ Original Numberx100
30 - 22 = 8
8
 ÷ 22x100 = 36.3636363636
