You are trying to find out how much granola is needed for 1/6 of a recipe. To do this, you have to find 1/6 of the amount of granola needed for a whole recipe, which is 7/9.

So, you would multiply 1/6 * 7/9 = 7/54.

7/54 cannot be simplified, so your final answer is that you would need 7/54 of a cups of granola if you were going to make 1/6 of the recipe.
