wait, do you mean this number?

[tex]7 \frac{3}{4} [/tex]

it's easy to remember that every 1/4 is 0.25 (basically divide 100 over 4: it's 25).

so [tex] \frac{3}{4} [/tex]=3*0.25=0.75

and [tex]7 \frac{3}{4} [/tex] is 7.75
