 It could be said that what Beowulf teaches about Anglo Saxon culture might be the value of teaching new generation, leave a legacy for future generations. It might be interesting to mention that he believes God decides whether someone live or dies. He is brave, respectful a great warrior and honorable, these concepts refer to the epic hero and they are characteristics that the Anglo saxon society valued.
