What is the area of a shape that has the length of 10cm and the height of 5cm?

assuming that the shape is a paralellogram (4 sided shape with 2 pairs of paralell sides)

area=legnth times width
legnth=10
width=5
5 times 10=50

area is 2-D so
50 square cm is also written as 50cm^2

the answer is 50 square cm
