Step 1: Cross-multiply.
(x+3)^1/2=(3x+7)^1/4
Step 2: Subtract 6x from both sides.
4x+12−6x=6x+14−6x
−2x+12=14
Step 3: Subtract 12 from both sides.
−2x+12−12=14−12
−2x=2
Step 4: Divide both sides by -2.
−2x/−2=2/−2

Answer:
x=−1
