Prop 14 of 1965 and of 2010 are both very different, so I wish you would specify. Prop 14 in 1965 was quite controversial, so I think that's the one you're talking about. It would have nullified the Rumford Fair Housing Act, which helped end racial discrimination by property owners and landlords. Prop 14 was later declared unconstitutional by the California Supreme Court in 1966.
