A gas occupies a volume of 0.6 L at 10.1 kPa. What volume will the gas occupy at 101 kPa? Assume all other properties remain constant.

To simplify the problem, we assume that it is an ideal gas. Using the ideal gas equation PV = nRT, we can calculate for the new volume of the gas. Since nRT are constants, we can calculate as follows:

P1V1 = P2V2
10.1 (0.6) = (101)V2
V2 = 0.06 L
