The Area of a square can be written as [tex]A = s^{2} [/tex] where s is side length. Hence, s² = 16 and the side is 4. So now you know the height of the cylinder is 4. The diameter is also 4 because all sides are equal in a square. Hence, [tex]V = \pi r^{2} h[/tex] and V = (4)²π(4) and finally, V = 64π
