This is an example of difference of two squares, because 49 is a squared number. Thus, you can write it in the form, (a + b)(a - b).

Thus, [(x - 3) + 7][(x - 3) - 7] = 0
(x + 4)(x - 10) = 0

And the zeros are at: x = -4, 10
