Parallel lines have equivalent slopes, so as the slope of the given line is 2/3, the slope of the line we want to find is also 2/3.

Substituting into point-slope form and rearranging into slope-intercept form,

[tex]y-6=\frac{2}{3}(x-3)\\\\y-6=\frac{2}{3}x-2\\\\\boxed{y=\frac{2}{3}x+4}[/tex]
