side length 2 km and slant height 2 km.

to find:

the surface area of the pyramid.

solution:

area of 4 triangle= 1/2 × 2 × 2 × 4

= 8km

area of rectangle= 2×2

= 4km

area= 4+8

= 12km

so, the surface area of the pyramid is 12km.
