given:

λ = 5 x 10^-7 m, i.e the wavelength

to find:

the energy in the wave.

solution:

= c / λ

c =( 3 x 10^ 8 m/s)

f = 3x10^8ms-¹ /5 x10^-7m

= 6x10^14 Hz.
