First multiply by distrubuting 1/3 in parethesis

7x + 10 = 4x - 1 + 14x

Combine like terms, 14x and 4x

7x + 10 = 18x - 1

Isolate the X to one side by subtracting 7x from both sides

10 = 11x - 1

Add one to both sides

11 = 11x

Now divide by 11

x = 1
