3/5 + 1/2
= 6/10 + 5/10
= 11/10
= 1.1 so the answer is 1.1

you add 3/5+ 1/2 which = 11/10

divide 11 in to 10 which gives you 1 and 1/10

answer 1 and 1/10 or 1.1
