Answer: 18 cm

Explanation:

Let x = width (W)
Let x + 2 = length (L)

Area (A) = L*W
x(x+2) = 360
x^2 + 2x = 360
x^2 + 2x - 360 = 0
(x + 20)(x - 18) = 0
x + 20 = 0
x = -20
^^^ reject because distance can’t be negative
x - 18 = 0
x = 18 (width)

x + 2 = 20 (length)

A = L*W
360 = 20 * 18
360 = 360
