Find the slope of a line if it goes through (2, 5) and (-2,9)

Hello!

The slope of a line is found using the following formula:

[tex]m=\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}[/tex]

[tex]m=\frac{9-5}{-2-2}[/tex]

[tex]m=\frac{4}{-4}\\m=-1[/tex]

So the slope is -1.
