Answer:

for two lines to be perpendicular m2 = -1/m2

using the formula y= mx+c

m1 = 0

for the lines to be perpendicular to each other(m2 = -1/0 )

Note: -1/0 is undefined

using the formula y-y1 = m(x-x1)

y -6 = -1/0(x-2)

cross multiply

0 = -1(x-2)

0 = -x+2

x =2(equation of the line)
