Answer: The Bill of rights protects some of our basic freedoms such as the right to bear arms, the right to freedom of speech, and the right to a trial by jury, also etc. Basically, the way the Bill of Rights protects individuals civil liberties is it puts a limit on the government's power towards its citizens and their lives.
