Given, a = 7/8, b = 9/12

a+b = 7/8 + 9/12 = (21+18)/24 = 39/24 = 13/8

a-b = 7/8 + 9/12 = (21-18)/24 = 3/24 = 1/8

a×b = 7/8 × 9/12 = 7/8 × 3/4 = 21/32

a÷b = 7/8 ÷ 9/12 = 7/8 × 12/9 = 7/8 × 4/3=7/6
