Write in standard form the equation of the line that has a slope of 2 and that passes through ( 3, -1) explain please!

Standard form.

[tex]y=mx+n[/tex]

Where m is the slope and n is the point where x=0. Then, you have,
[tex]y=2x+n[/tex]


To obtain n use the point they give you,

[tex]-1=2(3)+n[/tex]

So n=-7 and then

[tex]y=2x-7[/tex]
