first find the gradient:

M;=∆y/∆x

hence;M=7_2/3_2=5/1

M=5

substituting in equation

y=mx+c take point (3,7) and point (x,y)

y-7/x-3=5

y-7=5(x-3)

y_7=5x_15

y=5x-15+7

y=5x-8
