2(a+3) + 3(2a-1)
First, let's use the distributive property to expand 2(a+3):
2(a+3) = 2*a + 2*3 = 2a + 6
Let's use the distributive property now to expand 3(2a-1):
3(2a - 1) = 3*2a - 3*1 = 6a - 3

So 2(a+3) + 3(2a-1) = 2a + 6 + 6a - 3
Now you calculate variables between each others, and numbers between each others:
2a + 6 + 6a - 3 = 2a + 6a + 6 - 3 = 8a + 3

So the simplified form of 2(a+3) + 3(2a-1) is 8a + 3.

Hope this Helps! :)
