It has given us more access to ways of mixing changing and editing the songs we make, rather than just using standard instruments and normal concerts. Now we can also stream as we practice songs so we can get possible feedback from fans, and also so that we can preview the songs we make. Cell phones and technology have benefited music in some of the best ways possible.
