Answer:

radius=1/2 multiplied by diameter

r=1/2 multiplied by 5

r=2.5

formula=area of circle =pie into r²

22/5 into (2.5)²=area

22/5 multiplied by 6.25=area

22multiplied by 1.25 =area (6.25divided by 5=1.25)

27.5=area of circle
