How does a cube root differ from finding a square root of a positive integer

The square root of a number "n" is a number that when mutiplied by itself returns "n'

The cube root of  number "n" is a number that when multiplied together three times equals "n"

Example

√64 = 8     because 8*8 = 64

3√64 = 4    because 4*4*4 = 64
