Answer:

We divided the figure in picture into 1 triangle and 2 rectangles.

Adding up the area of them, we get the total area:

A = area of triangle + area of 2 rectangles

   =  base x height/2 + length1 x width1 + length2 x width2

   = 13 x (4 + 13 + 8 - 12)/2 + 11 x 8 + 3 x 13

   = 211.5
