1) In prokaryotes, which have cytoplasm, there are no organelles. 

2) In eukaryotes, the nucleus (which is an organelle) is surrounded by the cytosplasm, but is not contained within the cytoplasm. The cytoplasm is the region of the cell outside the nucleus, out to the plasma membrane, so the nucleus is excluded from the cytoplasm
