Parallel lines has equal slopes. Line y = 2x + 2 has a slope of 2, hence required slope is 2
Required equation is y - y1 = 2(x - x1)
y - 3 = 2(x - 5)
y - 3 = 2x - 10
y = 2x - 10 + 3
y = 2x - 7
