It is false that physiological age is the number of years a person has been alive. Physiological age, also known as biological age, is how well (or poorly) your body is working as opposed to your actual age. So, you can be 24, but your body can function as if it were 60, or the other way around. This is the difference between your actual, calendar age, and your physiological age, or the age of your body and its organs and functions.
