9 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

Let [tex]t_{jog}[/tex] be the time for which gwen jogged.

Let [tex]t_{walk}[/tex] be the time for which gwen walked.

It is given that the ratio of the time she jogged to the ratio of the time she walked is [tex]5:1[/tex]

[tex]\frac{t_{jog}}{t_{walk}}=\frac{5}{1}[/tex]

It is also given that gwen jogged for [tex]45[/tex] minutes.

So,[tex]t_{jog}=45[/tex]

[tex]\frac{45}{t_{walk}}=\frac{5}{1}[/tex]

[tex]t_{walk}=\frac{1}{5} \times 45=9[/tex]

So,gwen walked for 9 minutes
