There is hard, smooth, and rocky
Hard sand forms when something is heavy on top and there is a large of pressure.
Smooth sand is formed when waves and gentle and calm and the water is shallow the waves come over the sand pushing it downwards a small bit creating smooth sand
Rocky sand is formed when rockets are brought in from when the water moves them and they start to stack on each other creating a large amount of the floor to be covered in rocks
