-2(3x + 2) > -8x + 6

-6x - 4 > -8x + 6
      + 4          + 4
-6x       > -8x + 10
+8x         +8x        
2x         >       10
÷ 2                   ÷2
 x           > 5

x is greater than 5, let us assume that x = 6.

-2(3x+2) > -8x + 6
-2((3*6)+2) > -8(6) + 6
-2(18+2) > -48 + 6
-2(20) > -42
-40 > -42  correct!
