We know that: 
[tex] V=w \times h \times b[/tex]
Therefor:
[tex]b=\frac{V}{h \times w}[/tex]
[tex]b=\frac{16cm^{3}}{2cm \times 6cm}[/tex]
[tex]b=\frac{18cm^{3}}{12cm^{2}}[/tex]
[tex]b=1\frac{1}{2}cm=1.5cm[/tex]
