The possible ratios are 2:1 , 4:2, 6:3 etc.

Given that there are 40 boys and 20 girls in a room.

So the ratio of  boys to girls is:

[tex]40:20=2:1[/tex]  [Reduced by 20]

To get similar ratios we can multiply by numbers like 2, 3 with the ratio.

[tex]2:1=4:2=6:3[/tex]
