Find the value of x when 3x-6=2(x+4)

Answer:

X = 14.

3x-6=2(x+4)

2 times x

2 times 4

3x-6=2x+8

add 6 to the other side equals 14

3x=2x+14

subtract 2x

1x=14

x=14
