If h(x) = 2x^2 , then h(-2) + 5=_______

h(-2) just means that you should substitute x for -2 in the function.

h(-2) = 2(-2)^2

h(-2) = 8

Therefore, h(-2) + 5 = 8 + 5

h(-2) + 5 = 13
