the answer is 6 because absolute value just means the positive number.


-8 + 2 = -6

absolute value of -6 = 6

you need to combine -8 and 2 . That would equal -6

then you take the absolute value of -6 which is 6

an absolute value is always the positive of any number (example -455 =455 and +878=878)

so your answer is positive 6
