A town in east Texas received 10 inches of rain in 2 weeks. If it kept raining at this rate for a 31- day month, how much rain did the town receive

2 weeks = 14 days

10 / 14 = 0.71428571428

0.71428571428 * 31 = 22.1428571429

The town received about 22 inches of rain.

If you include the 2 weeks, then it would be 32 inches of rain.
