To factor this out, I would actually multiply the (x+3)(x-2) first just so that we can have less parenthesis everywhere. Now, the problem is 2(x²+x-6) + 4(x-2). If we expand these parenthesis, we'll get 2x²+2x-12+4x-8. The simplified version of this is 2x²+6x-20, or 2(x²+3x-10). We can factor the parenthesis to 2(x-2)(x+5), which is the final answer.
