Disitribute the 3 to the first parenthesis:

[tex] 3(2x-5) = 6x-15 [/tex]

Distribute the 4 to the second parenthesis:

[tex] 4(x-3)=4x-12 [/tex]

So, the equation becomes

[tex] 6x-15-4x+12=7 \iff 2x=10 \iff x = \dfrac{10}{2} = 5 [/tex]
