A car moved 22.0 km at a rate of 12 m/s north. How long did it take the car to travel the 18.0 km?

Given data:

Distance traveled by the car = 22 km

Velocity of car = 12m/s

Time for the 18 km travelling= ?

Solution:

18 km = 18000m

= 18000m ÷ 12m/s

= 1500 s

                                                Time for the 18 km travelling = 1500 s
